Dr. Lauren’s decades-long work as a devoted psychotherapist has involved families, troubled adolescents, couples in strained marriages, individuals in crisis, and veterans (and others) suffering with PTSD. Wherever her practice has taken her, she has devoted a significant amount of her time to pro bono endeavors. As it is, practicing as a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (with her medical training completed in the United States), she is willing to apply a sliding fee scale in consultation with some highly motivated clients. Concerned about the silent, hidden epidemic of crippling anxiety and depression, she has counseled and coached innumerable clients back to active roles in their lives, relationships, and professions. Dr. Lauren is currently adding group work to her endeavours with respect to those suffering from anxiety and panic disorders.
Even before the COVID crisis, Dr. Lauren conversed with clients and patients by telephone and by Skype. Even patients who determine that they reside or work close to Dr. Lauren’s office are free to choose their most comfortable mode of interaction.
